The church is commissioned by the Lord to spread the gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ to all men, and to make disciples of them (see Matthew 28:16-20). To that end, Bethel has placed great emphasis on the Ministry of Evangelism.
The prayer ministry team focuses on intercessory prayer for the body of Christ, Bethel Edmonton, its leaders, for the surrounding communities and also for our government.
Bethel’s Care Ministry is devoted to serving members in the church and surrounding community who are hurting, or experiencing changes and challenges due to illness, grief, loss, mental health issues, childbirth and for so many other reasons that we may not be able to name.
We are committed to bringing hope to those who are incarcerated and feeling isolated and hopeless; we want every prisoner to know that, although they may physically be behind bars, they can experience freedom and deliverance, through Christ. That is the “good news” of The Gospels.
Seniors in our congregation and in our surrounding community are dear to our hearts and we want to ensure that they are cared for, engaged and active. One of our key objectives is to provide programs and services that address safety, health, nutrition, financial, mental health, conflict resolution, inter-generational engagement.
