Edmonton's Food Bank
For ten (10) years, Bethel United Apostolic has partnered with Edmonton’s Food Bank to provide assistance to vulnerable Edmontonians.
In addition to working onsite at the Food Bank, our volunteers participate in the Food Banks’ drive at the Annual Servus Heritage Days Festival during the August Civic Holiday.
Church members volunteer year round and are responsible for:
- collecting, sorting, repackaging, and redistributing food for individuals and families
Through partnership and collaboration with other organizations, Edmonton’s Food Bank is able to provide many other services, such as Beyond Food Program, to the community. The Beyond Food Program offers employment assistance, English & math upgrading, budgeting advice, personal counselling and information on affordable housing.
